golfing

Thomas went golfing today. He was the only one out there but he went. He only lasted 6 holes because he ran out of water. Never a good thing when it's over 120!

Isn't he just so darn sexy?!?!?!?!?!

Look at that lush green course ;) Beautiful.

He's stuck in a rock pit...hahahahaha. Guess when you play golf in the sand they can't call them sand pits.

You've seen it all now folks. Swimming, volleyball, and golf all in the dessert. We are TWO weeks away from 10 months! I LOVE you handsome. Stay SAFE and hurry home. Can't wait to smooch you to pieces. LOVE you handsome.

YUM

I went shopping this morning and came home with all this goodness!!! This might last me one week, if I'm lucky. I of course buy veggies too, but they're not nearly as yummy.

I also bought this. It is the BEST spread I have EVER had in my LIFE! I just want to eat it by the spoonfuls. It's made with hazelnuts and it tastes chocolaty (thanks to the cocoa) and it would be fabulous on crepes, french toast, or just on a spoon :) If you like creamy goodness, you MUST buy this!!! Caution: VERY addicting and not as healthy as the products pictured above.

Christmas in July

I went to my dear friend Carmen's house this weekend and scored some major loot!!! My new sunflower themed kitchen. I lOVE it!!!

My favorite piece out of all. An old fashioned coffee grider from Poland.

These sunflower roosters crack me up. The liquid pours out of their beaks.

A wonderfully LARGE cake platter that my darling husband says he can't wait to "put to good use." I've been looking for a covered cake platter for three years. Who knew my kitchen dreams would come true in Carmen's garage?!?!?!
We also went shopping while I was there and I couldn't resist. I bought this cute set of mini cutting boards that will be perfect for cheese and crackers. I eat a TON of cheese. Also scored some delicious Bruschetta!!!
The car was PACKED with goodies :) She's moving :( to Florida in a couple weeks (so I'll soon be close by) and lucky for me.....they're over their weight allowance. As a result, I came home with TONS of kitchen stuff.

I made off like a bandit! Thank you guys so much!!! Along with what's pictured above, I made off with a few beautiful serving sets, a fondue set, bathroom set, a sunflower tea set, clothes, and a couple coolers (can never have too many coolers). I will miss you guys so much.....but we will be visiting soon!!!
I hope you all had a wonderful 4th. I ate delicious food and watched fireworks with the Fernandez's, then at midnight we ate my cheese cake :) See you guys in a couple weeks for the big move.
Love,
Heather and Ana (who's very tired from too much sun)

he passed!!!

Thomas finished his college class last week and he got a B! He's going to wait to start another class because he will be in the middle of a few moves coming up soon and that always makes things a lot harder.
Thomas also passed his PT (physical fitness) test this morning. Of course I had no doubts, but he always gets nerous for some reason. His 2 mile time was 13:33. Ya....super fast. Now you understand why I HATE running with him!?!?! I feel like a slug...a fat slug at that!!! Ana doesn't even love running with him. He scored above a 90 in all three events, running, push-ups, and sit-ups. They have to get at least a 60 in each event to pass (100 is the max). For Thomas to get a 100 in running he needs to run the 2 miles in like 13:00 flat...CRAZY.
Congrats babe!!! Now go eat some ICE CREAM! Love you lots.
