he passed!!!

Thomas finished his college class last week and he got a B! He's going to wait to start another class because he will be in the middle of a few moves coming up soon and that always makes things a lot harder.
Thomas also passed his PT (physical fitness) test this morning. Of course I had no doubts, but he always gets nerous for some reason. His 2 mile time was 13:33. Ya....super fast. Now you understand why I HATE running with him!?!?! I feel like a slug...a fat slug at that!!! Ana doesn't even love running with him. He scored above a 90 in all three events, running, push-ups, and sit-ups. They have to get at least a 60 in each event to pass (100 is the max). For Thomas to get a 100 in running he needs to run the 2 miles in like 13:00 flat...CRAZY.
Congrats babe!!! Now go eat some ICE CREAM! Love you lots.

pictures from a couple days ago

Thomas with a very grumpy looking man.
The first time Thomas' dfac grilled.

Another hard day of work...playing cards ;)

and they call this a deployment????

A few pictures from the BBQ they had today. It's about 120 degrees right now, even hotter in the direct sun, so Thomas didn't play too long. He seems to be enjoying his days off though, aside from the heat that is. Only a few more months and he'll be back in "cold" Germany. He's going to freeze. It's only in the 70's/80's here.
LOOK AT THAT POOL!!!
Thomas getting ready to serve.

Thomas is the one closest to the camera.

getting closer

We are getting closer and closer.....
We passed the eight month mark yesterday!
I have a little less than two months left of school, Thomas is finishing up his class, then we'll only have ONE month until he comes home!!!
Can't wait to see you handsome.
Love you!

mother's day gift

A picture of the other apron I sewed over Spring break. I couldn't post this one right away because at the time it was in the mail to my mom. I REALLY wanted to keep it :) Love the pattern on this one. It's also reversable, the back is the same fabric as the ties.

By all means celebrate this much needed three day weekend, but just remember why you have it. Take a moment to remember our heros.

He's so good to me :)

May 20th marks 3 years for Thomas and I.
In 3 years we have
moved 3 times,
lived in 2 countries,
been in 4 units,
had 2 promotions,
survived 2 deployments (almost),
added 1 new member to the family,
and only broke 1 drinking glass!!!
WOW
I am so excited see what the many years ahead of us will bring. Thomas and I celebrated our 3 years while he was home on R&R. It included...

breakfast in bed for me,

beautiful flowers, a delicious dinner (prepared by Thomas) and fresh dessert (made by me).

Cheers to another 3 handsome! I LOVE you!!!
